1909-04-16 - Dr. Torkelson arrived in Lyle Monday afternoon from Heron Lake, Minn to take up his practice in Lyle. The doctor had one year's experience in the Milwaukee Sanatorium and over a year in the Norwegian Deaconess Hospital at Chicago. During the past few months he has been with Dr. Moe at the Heron Lake Hospital. He is making his headquarters at the Commercial Hotel until the building adjoining the post office can be suitably arranged for office rooms. With four MD's in Lyle, our people should take courage.
