Funeral services were held for a former Lyle resident, Dorwin W. Johnson, Saturday Feb. 27 at Nissawa, Minn. He died Thursday, Feb. 25, from a lingering illness. Interment was at Nissawa.

He was born in Lyle, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Johnson, and grew to manhood at Lyle. He lived there until he entered the army in World War I.

He is survived by his wife, Gladys, a sister, Orla of Minneapolis, three brother, Henry O. Johnson of Lyle, Ted of Tacoma, Wash., and George of Alhambra, California.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Grace and a son, Don, also one sister, Mrs. Ted (Clara) Wilson, and three brothers, Julius, Louis and Harold.
