1927-03-18 - Harry Danley is the new proprietor of the pool hall on the west side of Main Street, having purchased it of Mrs. Will Small.

1928-03-30 - Harry Danley who has been operating a pool hall in Lyle the past year, is missing. Last week Tuesday, he started for Austin in his truck, which was later found near the chicken shack, about three miles south of Austin. Thursday evening he returned on the evening train, but those who saw him say he acted queer. He left the next morning, and his whereabouts seems to be a mystery. His parents came here from Lincoln, Neb. Tuesday morning. The same day a letter arrived from Worthington, asking that money be sent him there. His father, G. Hartson, and Chas. Samuels went to Worthington, but the only clue they got was that a party answering Mr. Danley's description and stopped at the hotel a few hours Sunday evening, and mailed three letters. During the past few months there has been considerable sickness among the five children at the Danley home, and some are even yet under the doctor's care, and it is thought that worry may have unbalanced his mind.

1928-04-06 - "H. Danley Found at Emmetsburg Last Monday" - Harry Danley, who was missing for a couple weeks, has been found. Last Monday afternoon, Mayor Jens Larson received a phone call from the sheriff at Emmetsburg, Iowa, stating that Danley had been found walking on the road near that place and being in a critical condition had been taken to a hospital. Danley was previously reported to have been at Spencer, 25 miles from Emmetsburg, on Thursday of last week. His father who had been called here left the same evening for Spencer but being unable to locate him went to his home at Lincoln, Sunday. Mrs. Danley, Harry's mother, took the children to her home at Lincoln, Friday evening.
