1906-01-26 - The stock of general merchandise recently owned by Stanley Bros., has been purchased by L. A. Sherman, I. F. and S. H. Dahl, who will conduct a general store at the old stand.

1908-10-16 - O. H. Dahl, who for several years has had charge of the mill at Otranto has purchase L. A. Sherman's interest in the firm of Dahl Bros. & Sherman. Mr. Sherman has been elected secretary fo the Gilbert Improved Culvert Company and expects to give his entire time to that business. Mr. Olaf Dahl has rented the Berg house recently vacated by Frank Kavorick and expects to move here soon... The firm will be known as Dahl Bros.
