FUNERAL HELD AT THE MONA
CHURCH FOR VICTIM OF LOG
ACCIDENT
Funeral rites for Clayton Nelson, 21, who was killed in an accident on the Godfrey Carlson farm Tuesday morning of last week, were held on Saturday afternoon at the Lutheran church in Mona, Rev. O. M. Langehough in charge.
Nelson, who had been working on the Carlson farm for three months was killed when a 16 foot log fell on him, breaking his neck. The youth had been piling logs preparatory to sawing them for lumber.
He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Fred Nelson, one sister, Mrs. Harlis Anderson, four brothers Earnest of Albert Lea, Morris and Vernon at home, and Harlan who is in the C. C. C. service in Arizona.
Interment was made in Pleasant Hill cemetery.
