Mrs. Cheryl Robinson, 68, of Pine City, passed away Friday, Oct. 3, 2014, after a courageous three-year battle with breast cancer.

Cheryl was born to Vernon and Margaret (Hanson) Campbell on Oct. 4, 1945, in Austin, Minnesota. Cheryl attended one year of college and worked as a dental assistant at the Hinckley Dental Center until she retired in 2007. She married Allen Robinson on June 12, 1981. Together they raised a combined family of Sarah and Scott Robinson and Thomas and Christopher Haffner. She will be missed by all that knew her.

She is survived by her husband Allen of Pine City; sons: Christopher (Rhea) Haffner of St. Paul, Thomas Haffner of West St. Paul; step-daughter Sarah Robinson (significant other Richard Watts) of Pine City; grandchildren: Alex, Emily, and Abril; mother Margaret Campbell of Fairfax; sisters: Dianne Tompkins of Woodbury, Gail (Steve) Herschman of Gibbon; many other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father Vernon Campbell; and son Scott Robinson.

Chaplain Gail Nord will officiate a memorial service on Thursday, Oct. 9, 2014, at 1:30 p.m. at Swanson Funeral Chapel of Pine City. A time of visitation will take place at 1 p.m. prior to the service at the chapel. Funeral arrangements for Mrs. Cheryl Robinson are entrusted to the Funeral and Cremation Service of Pine City — Swanson Chapel.
