In 1897 he was united in marriage to Margaret Siebels of Monticello. To this union three daughters were born. Mrs. Reuter passed away August 11th, 1906.

In 1909 he was married again to Lena Decker of Monticello, Iowa. To this union three sons were born.

In December 1913 he moved to Lyle, Minn., residing there seven years, Mrs. Reuter having passed away on, May 23rd 1914.

In 1920 he moved to a farm seven miles south west of Austin, where he resided until shortly before his death.

He leaves to mourn his sudden demise his six children, Mrs. Clifford Liedall of Lyle, Mrs. Ben Englehart of Amber, Iowa, Mrs. Lewie Helgens of Monticello, Rex of Amber, Iowa, Raymond of Rose Creek and Leo of Austin. We wish to express sincere thanks to all who spoke words of comfort and sympathized with us after the sudden death of our father. Especially do we wish to thank the Dahl quartette, the Lyle Masons, Rev. Langehough and those who sent floral tributes, or in other ways made our loss and sorrow easier to bear.
