Carl, the 16 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew J. Kvalie who reside on the K. G. Knutson farm, passed away at the Hospital at Austin Sunday morning about one o'clock. He had been taken there three days previous. The deceased has been ailing about eight days before he was taken to the hospital but his case was not considered critical until he was given medical attention.

The remains were shipped here Sunday afternoon and the funeral was held Wednesday afternoon, interment being made in Pleasant Hill cemetery near Mona. It was indeed a sad blow to the parents. They have the sympathy of the community in their bereavement.
