Bothel Hanson, who has made, his home in this community for many years, passed away at his home on Third street Wednesday morning at 10:00 after a linger illness of two years, tho not seriously so until the last three weeks. He was a man of very quiet disposition and lived a very secluded life. Some how have known him for years, however, speak words of praise and commendation for the departed brother, who was always a good neighbor.

Bothel Hanson was born in Luster, Norway, August 1833. In '61 he came to this country and settled in Dane county, Wisconsin where he made his home for a couple years. Coming west he located on a farm in Mitchell county 4 miles southeast of Lyle. The last few years he has made his home part of the time in town and at other times on the farm west of here.

He leaves a sister, Mrs. Bertha Johnson, grandsons Claud and Melvine Johnson, and other relatives.

The funeral will be held at the Mission church Friday at 1 o'clock and interment will be made at Six Mile Grove. Too much commendation cannot be given the faithful grandson, Claude Hanson who has been so faithful in caring for his grandfather. He has been at his bedside, administering every possible aid, [illegible:?] and comfort him in his last days.
