Bert Running

Was born at St. Ansgar, Ia., Dec. 9, 1882, and at the age of two, moved, with his parents, to the farm west of Lyle, where the family made their home until last spring, when they came to Lyle. The deceased had not been in good health for the past three years, having been afflicted with tuberculosis, but his condition was not considered critical until about a mouth ago, and it was only the two last weeks that he was confined to bis bed. He passed away Friday afternoon, Nov. 20th, and the remains were laid to rest Monday afternoon in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Rev. Moe conducted the services.

The sympathy of the community is with the sister, who three times during the course of a year has been bereaved of loved ones. Besides the sister, Mrs. Geo. Hartson of Lyle, the deceased leaves a mother who is in the sanatorium at St. James. The father, three brothers and two sisters had proceeded him to the Great Beyond The three brothers that have passed away during the year are Theodore, Dec. 3, 1913; Ole, May 25, 1914, and Bert, Nov. 20, 1914. --Lyle Tribune.
