B.F. MULDOWN PASSED AWAY

News reached Lyle Friday that B. F. Muldown had passed away at Albert Lea the evening before. The deceased was well known in Lyle and vicinity, where the family resided for many years, prior to moving to Alden and later to Albert Lea, Recently he had been staying at the Majestic Hotel.

The deceased was about 68 years of age. Mr. Muldown was born in Iowa, Jan. 5th., 1861, and for a number of years operated an elevator at Toeterville, Iowa.

The remains were brought here Saturday morning and interment was made in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Rev. Langehough had charge of the service.

The bearers were Mads Nelson, J. F. Ogden, W. H. McKee, O. M. Larson, O. O. Golberg and R. C. Rustad.

Speaking of Mr. Muldown's death the Evening Tribune of Albert Lea said:
"Bernard Muldown of this city passed away at the Naeve Hospital at 4:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon after a short illness.

Mr. Muldown was taken critically ill on Wednesday with an attack of the heart. He showed no signs of recovery from the start. The Muldowns were former residents of Lyle and Alden, Minn.

He is survived by his wife and three children: Miss Hazel and Mrs. Muldown live at Sioux Rapids, Ia.; Lloyd at White Fish, Mont., and Benjamin at Rochester, Minn. Miss Hazel is a teacher in the public schools at Sioux Rapids.

Death came so suddenly that the relatives did not have time to get to Albert Lea. Mrs. Muldown and daughter arrived early this morning.

The funeral will take place at the Bonnerup funeral home on Water Street, Saturday morning at 11 o'clock"
