We are pleaseed to announce to the public in general and to our old customers in particular that we will open up a general merchandise store in the neat new building formerly occupied by Miss Eggen's millinery establishment on Monday, May 25. With a complete line of dry goods, groceries, clothing, nothings etc. In addition to the stock of Thompson & Dock, which we have recently purchased from the assignee, we will have a nice line of new summer dress goods, nobby clothing, etc. which will arrive in a few days... 1897-10-22 - P.P. Dock has purchased of Mr. Eggen the store building now occupied by the Banner store, consideration $1500. Mr. Dock takes the store on part payment on the farm.
