He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran church of which he was a faithful member at the time of his death.

On June 28, 1905 he was united in marriage to Mary Myervold who passed away on January 6, 1910. To this union six children were born, all of whom survive. They are Thelma, Mrs. Amos Carberry, of Lyle, Mable, Mrs. Edgar Schroeder of Hawthorne, California; Archie of Austin, Edna Mrs. Melvin Klitzke of St. Ansgar, Iowa, Nono, Mrs. Ernest, Jorgenson, of Hawthorne, California; Nanet and Mrs. Lloyd Kirchgatter of Pittsburg, California.

There are also 12 grand children. Besides these he leaves to mourn his death, three sisters; Carrie, Mrs. Gunder Larson of Lyle; Mina, Mrs. Fred Lohman of Deer Creek, Minn. and Clara, Mrs. Walter Rawn of Lyle: Two Brothers: Gus of Mona and John of Lyle, besides a host of other relatives and friends. One sister Lena, Mrs. Nels Hanson and one brother Lewis preceded him in death.

Of late years Mr.Larson was subject to heart trouble and especially since the death of his wife, three years ago, his health declined rapidly.

The end came quietly and peacefully with little suffering. He often expressed the wish that he could go without a long illness- thus not causing those who loved him any extra work and trouble. He loved to have his children and grand children visit him altho he could not visit with them as much as he liked, as his hearing was impaired. He was active to the hour of his death in the work he loved and worked at his entire life.

Funeral services was conducted by Rev Langehough Wednesday July 28 at 1:30 P M at the Lyle Lutheran church and interment was made in Pleasant Hill cemetery.
