Ardella Anderson obituary
Funeral services were held on Thursday, June 27, 1985, at Mona Lutheran Church, for Mrs. Norris (Ardella) Anderson, 62, of Toeterville who died on Tuesday, June 25, 1985, at the St. Ansgar nursing home. The Rev. G. Grant officiated and burial was in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Mona.
Ardella Grace (Kittleson) Anderson was born in St. Ansgar, on September 12, 1922. She was baptized in the Methodist Church in St. Ansgar. She attended grade school in St. Ansgar. She was later employed by the local produce company of St. Ansgar.
On March 24, 1944, she was united in marriage to Norris Anderson at the Lutheran parsonage in Lyle, Minnesota. They lived on a farm north of St. Ansgar. She was a member of the Mona Lutheran Church, the ALCW and one of the first advisors of Trinity Parish Luther League. In 1949, they moved to Toeterville. She was the bookkeeper at the Toeterville Co-op Elevator for twenty years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son; and one half brother.
She is survived by her husband, Norris of Toeterville; one daughter, Mrs. Richard (Janet) Wold of St. Ansgar; two sons, Norman of Carpenter and Kenneth of Minneapolis, Minnesota; eight grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Victor (Pearl) Tostenson of Hollandale, Minnesota; two brothers, Melvin (Bob) Kittleson of St. Ansgar, and Clifford Kittleson of Los Angeles, Calif.; one half-brother, Lyle Christy of Austin, Minnesota; and several nieces and nephews.
