Anton O. Fossey was born in Brandvold, Solor, Norway, Jan. 28, 1851, and died Dec. 18, 1910. When 14 years of age he emigrated with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ole Fossey, to Mitchell County, IA where he lived until the time of his death. He was confirmed at St. Ansgar, IA, by Rev. Clausen, and married by Rev. Olson, to Olivia Christionson, of Grue, Solor, Dec. 6, 1882. To them were born nine children, six boys and three girls, who are left to morn his deparure, all being present at his death and funeral except the oldest daughter, Mrs. Henry Thompson, who was detained on account of sickness.

Beside these there are left to morn his death two brothers, Oliver Fossey, of Velva, ND and Chas. Fossey, of Moorhead, MN, three sisters, Mrs. Theo. Thompson, of Mona,IA, Mrs. E. B. Qually, of Winnepeg, Canada, and Mrs. O. A. Dahl of Barlow, and his aged mother residing with her daughter, Mrs. Dahl. The funeral was held Thursday afternoon from the Mona church and interment was made in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. --Lyle Tribune.
