At Rest.

Probably these words were never more truthfully written on the death of a human being than over Mrs. Englebrecht Johnson who died at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday June 3rd, 1902, at the home of her daughter Mrs. Henry Hughes of this place.

For over twenty-one years Mrs. Johnson had been ailing but her disease did not assume a definite form until about Christmas this last year since which time words could not portray what the poor woman has suffered. We are told she was not able to move hand or foot for a long time previous to her death without screaming. The pain became so unbearable that she prayed that death might come and loosen the bonds that bound her to this world. Her husband and daughters Mrs. Hughes, Jennie and Hannah and sons Charlie and Elmer were with her when she died, one son, Amus[illegible:?], who was at White Rock, South Dakota, being unable to reach her. He got here on Thursday to attend the funeral which occurred from the Mona Norwegian Lutheran church. She was 58 years old at the time of her death.

A CARD.

We wish to tender our deepest gratitude to all the friends and neighbors who assisted in anyway, be it ever so trivial, during our late bereavement when our loved mother and wife was called to the "Great Beyond."
