Funeral services for Mrs. J. P. Mortensen, Lyle, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Lyle, the Rev. G. C. Knutson officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Mona, Iowa. Friends may call at the Worlein Funeral Home from 5 p.m. today until 11 a.m. Thursday and at the church from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Thursday.

Mrs. J. P. Mortensen

Mrs. J. P. Mortensen, 85, died this morning at her home in Lyle. She had resided there since she was six months old.

Surviving are two daughters, Miss Amanda Mortensen and Mrs. L. G. Howard (Katherine), Lyle; three sons, Jay, Orville and Lloyd of Lyle. Her husband died two months ago.

Funeral arrangements by the Worlein Funeral Home will be announced later.
