OBITUARY

Anna Bjorndal Sampson was born in Nevada Twp. Sept. 17th 1854 and passed peacefully away Dec. 28th 1942 at the home of her daughter, Mrs Tillie McKee after an illness of 8 weeks, at the age of 88 yrs, 3 mos., and 11 days.

She was the eldest daughter of Ole and Marie Sampson, was baptized, confirmed and married by Rev. Clausen.

She was united in marriage to Iver K Everson Oct. 23rd 1872 and lived her entire life in this community. To this union 5 children were born. Her husband preceded her in death 17 years ago.

She is survived by her children, Tillie McKee and Charley Everson of Lyle. Mamie (Mrs H O) Aneerson of Minneapolis, Olaf of Fillmore, Sask, and Ervin of Austin. Besides her immediate family who mourn her departure are a sister, Mrs L P Thompson of Minneapolis, two brothers, Chris and Hans Sampson of Lyle, Minn; 15 grand children and 14 great grandchildren and 1 great great grand child.

She was at the time of her death the last honor member of the Mona Ladies Aid. She will be sadly missed by her family and this who knew her.

Funeral services were held at her late home and at the Mona church, Thursday Dec 31, 1942, Rev. Langehough officiating.

Nephews of the deceased acted as pall bearers. The sum of $47.50 was contributed as a Memorial wreath.
