"American Legion

The Lyle American Legion Post 335 was given a temporary charter November 6, 1919, prior to the November 11, 1919, National Convention for permanent organization. There was a depression and it was hard to pay regular dues and the organization was not active. On May 19, 1932, the Lyle Legion Post 105 was permanently organized."

"Post No. 335 cancelled 1/10/1927. It would have been chartered sometime after 1919. Post No. 105 chartered 5/9/1932 and is still active."
